Dédale’s resources
Dédale Asia Pacific’s most valued resources are its key people and the expert knowledge they have accumulated in organisational psychology, human factors and systems safety.
Brent Hayward leads Dédale Asia Pacific’s consulting team, supported by Senior Associate Dr Andrew Lowe and supplemented by a range of expert professional associate consultants as required.
For more than 20 years Dédale Asia Pacific collaborated on various consulting and research projects with the Dédale SAS company based in Paris, France. Dédale’s Paris team included a blend of psychologists, engineers, pilots, ergonomists, and safety specialists. Principal consultants included Dédale SAS CEO Jean Pariès, and shareholders the late Professor James Reason (University of Manchester, UK) and Professor Erik Hollnagel (University of Southern Denmark), supported by Dr Claude Valot, Florence Mourey, Florence Magnin, Luigi Macchi, and Antoine Moreau.
In 2020 the business of Dédale SAS was acquired by ICSI, the French Institut pour une Culture de Sécurité Industrielle. Jean Pariès currently works as the Scientific Director of ICSI.
In addition to our full-time consultants, Dédale maintains an extensive network of expert human factors and aviation safety associates in Australia and internationally. We can draw on this network to complement our own professional expertise with specialist input and advice in fields including fatigue risk management, human factors in maintenance, qualitative and quantitative risk assessment, Occupational Heath & Safety, specialist training design and development, and Safety Management Systems.
